Maine Coast Heritage Trust’s Maine Conserved Lands Registry offers land trusts and other land conservation entities in Maine a new way to track their conservation holdings, providing participating organizations with useful database services. The mission of this website service is to provide a tool for tracking conservation easements and fee-owned conserved lands. Having properties in a centrally-located database system will help MLTN and MCHT be aware of hardships or dissolution of a conservation organization and facilitate continued stewardship of conserved lands. The Maine Conserved Lands Registry offers easy organization, viewing, compilation and reporting of conservation holdings while offering landowners, donors, and the public the added reassurance that your organization is committed to the long-term conservation and care of all its conservation assets. And for those interested, the Registry creates a standard format that facilitates optional sharing of conserved lands information for conservation planning and other purposes. > Learn more about the registry and how to participate.
